The
'Where Is the Love?' hitmaker has admitted that whilst the 41-year-old
pop beauty wasn't invovled in their recent reunion at London's Royal
Albert Hall in April, he hasn't ruled out having the blonde beauty - who
joined the group on their third LP 'Elephunk' in 2003 - back as the
only female vocalist.
"In 1995, we
performed with The Black Eyed Peas without Fergie. So in my memory bank,
that's The Black Eyed Peas. Of course we are going to perform with
Fergie when that version of The Black Eyed Peas comes together. But
until then, we are still going to perform with The Black Eyed Peas circa
1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 ... I can't wait to perform with Fergie again.
Is she just too busy at the moment? We all have these separate things
that we're doing. I don't know what 'too busy' is." He told Q magazine.
Fergie
is currently working on her next solo album and recently teased the
song, 'M.I.L.F.$', by sharing the artwork on her Instagram.
Meanwhile,
The Black Eyed Peas - whose last studio LP was 2010's 'The Beginning' -
are set to reunite to celebrate their 20th anniversary this year, but
Fergie doubted she would be involved because she only joined in 2003.
Fergie said: "I was in the studio and heard something Will was doing and
it was great. But maybe the guys are doing something? I haven't been in
the group for 20 years, so it's more their anniversary of being
together for 20 years. So maybe they're putting out an album
themselves."
